Privacy statement for Keep it forever

The contact information you register with us will only be used to keep us connected, and to send you information about new services or changes to our service – preferably by email. We will not share or sell the information you entrust to us.
You retain all rights and ownership of your keepsakes and words and other data you store with Keep It Forever. We will not look at it or use it in any way, it is and always will be your private property. You can access your data at any time or delete it.
We may collect some information about browser type, statistical info about how our users use our service, where they are located, the amount of keepsakes stored, words written and other user patterns that can help us understand what our users need and how we can build a better service. If necessary, and only after obtaining a user’s permission, we may also view his/her user account to provide technical support, but we will not be looking at the keepsakes. The exception is if we need to reveal information to comply with a lawful request by Norwegian authorities. Our staff and technical personnel, as well as any third party contractor with access to your data, except the Amazon S3 Cloud Storage system which is controlled by Amazon Privacy statement, have signed a legal agreement to protect your privacy.
Data is encrypted during transfer and when stored: we use encrypted Amazon S3 Cloud Storage.
When you enter the Keep It Forever website, we collect your browser type and IP address. This information is gathered for all Keep It Forever visitors. In addition, we store certain information from your browser using “cookies”. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. We use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. These cookies terminate once the user closes the browser.
Keep It Forever automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookie information, and the page you request.
We use persistent cookies to store website usage information. Persistent cookies are stored on your computer for a longer period of time. Such information is not personally identifiable. Changes to this privacy policy As we develop our services, it may be necessary to adjust this policy or our other policies. Notice of any changes to this policy will be posted on the Keep It Forever website and communicated to you in a suitable manner. If you do not accept the updated policy, you will be given sufficient time to delete your data and stop using the service.
